Battery Quality - What Really Counts?
When faced with deciding which battery pack to try or buy, it can be difficult to make a decision based on appearances. What really counts when considering battery pack quality?
Critical battery pack quality issues are usually not outwardly visible or immediately obvious- they are mostly related to components found on the inside, and to the way the battery behaves long-term when used on its related device and charging equipment. These “invisible” issues can add up to a tough choice when faced with so many different battery packs and suppliers, particularly when facing time and budget constraints.
The things that count most when considering battery pack quality are cells, plastic, electrical and other components, assembly and quality control, and compatibility with original equipment.
Don’t be fooled by glitzy advertising and throw-away prices- genuine savings can only be achieved by purchasing true quality in the places where it matters. Today’s “great deal” often ends up costing you more tomorrow.
